iOS 5 Previewed

  • Apple Last Monday previewed their latest Mobile device operating system (iOS 5).
  • Apple claim there are 200 new features in this update (which will be available later this year)
  • Some features such as iTunes Cloud ( a feature which allows you to compare the music you have on your PC with the music apple has - and then download it to any device) will not be available in the UK until 2012 latest reports suggest.
  • Apple also launched a new product called iCloud (replacing their previously named MobileMe) which will be free - it allows you to wirelessly sync contacts, pictures and calendars from Mac to iPad to iPhone to PC.

Latest Build of Lion Available to developers

  • The latest build of 10.7 came out yesterday, it features bug fixes and more importantly some nice new features.
  • Firstly there’s a new login screen - a change for the first time in 10 years.
  • A new feature called reading list - bookmarks in safari taken a bit further allowing you to come back later and catchup.
  • And for anyone who loves Apples wallpapers there’s about 10 new ones including the infamous lion used everywhere to promote 10.7

Macbook Air Rumours
